Holly Madison is back into a size 2 less than two months after welcoming baby Rainbow Aurora with her fiance Pasquale Rotella. But her fit frame didn’t come without hard work. The former Girls Next Door star reveals how she got back into bikini shape so soon after giving birth.
Holly has already lost 30 pounds since welcoming her baby on March 5, and is back in a size 2. In the precious weeks after welcoming her first child, Holly was advised not to exercise to soon after giving birth. So she had been relying on a strict diet to shed the extra pounds, including a lot of fruits, vegetables and lean proteins.
She has been eating her meals courtesy of eDiets, a serious of chef-prepared meals ordered online and delivered to her home. Her average daily caloric intake is between 1,000 to 1,100 calories. Some of the meals include controlled portion sizes of french toast with berry compote, grilled chicken and mashed potatoes, and whole wheat pasta with veggies.
But since she’s breastfeeding, Holly is recommended to consume an extra 500 calories, so she ups her intake with extra fruit, smoothies, salads — and sometimes a treat.
“I’ll get dessert sometimes, but just have a couple of bites,” she reveals to Life & Style magazine.
Aside from her strict diet plan, Holly also took a page out of Jessica Alba‘s book, and cinched her waist with tight corsets.
“I’ve started wearing them to help tighten up. I’ve still got a lot of loose skin around my waistline,” she tells the magazine.
Now that her baby girl is two months old, Holly can get back into her workout stride. She has been hitting the treadmill several days a week, and incorporating ab work. Even though her fiance Pasquale Rotella is supportive, the new mom reveals her post-baby slimdown is all for herself.
“He doesn’t care if I lose the weight. It was just a goal I set for myself,” she adds.
We think she looks amazing! What do YOU think of Holly’s post-baby body, HollyMoms? Can you believe she shed so many pounds so fast?
