Kim Kardashian’s Met Ball Dress — Most Controversial Look Of The Night
The pregnant reality star stuck to a floral theme – floral gown and matching gloves and shoes -on the red carpet but unfortunately the look stole the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Do you think Kim rocked or looked ridiculous at the Met Gala?
While back in 2012 Kanye West attended the Met Gala solo, that wasn’t the case this year! When the performer hit the red carpet at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 6 celebrating the opening of PUNK: Chaos to Couture in NYC, his pregnant girlfriend was right by his side — and Kim Kardashian looked so excited to be there! While Kim was beaming when she stepped out on the red carpet unfortunately we can’t say the same for our reaction to her form-fitting, floral frock.
Kim Kardashian Met Ball Dress:
Kim and Kanye both donned looks by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy at the Met Gala. The 32-year-old, (who is in her third trimester), dressed her baby bump in a long-sleeved, form-fitting floral frock. While the reality star was very covered up she balanced out the look with a sexy slit that allowed her to flaunt her leg.
Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala Accessories:
While I wasn’t crazy for the print or the silhouette, Kim took it a step further by pairing it with matching sandals and gloves that looked like they were connected to the sleeves of the gown. The whole get-up was way too matchy-matchy for our liking!
“I am excited to see everyone’s take on punk. Fashion is very, everyone has their own take on it,” Kim said on the Met Gala red carpet. “It will be really interesting to me to see all the designers, and how everyone feels about punk.”
There’s no denying the fact that Kim has had a hard time establishing her maternity style. While I wasn’t a huge fan of this look I definitely don’t think it’s the worst, but what do you think?
