Katherine Tsarnaev’s husband, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed in a shootout on April 18, when police tried arresting the Boston Marathon bombing suspect. Katherine became a widow at 24 and was forced to tell her 3-year-old daughter about her daddy’s death.
Katherine Tsarnaev: Tamerlan’s Death Explained To Daughter
A relative says that after Tamerlan’s death, Katherine told their daughter, “Daddy has gone to heaven and that he still loves her very much.”
“She broke the news as gently as possible, but Zahara wants to know why,” the relative continued.
Katherine is also doing her best to cooperate with authorities.
On April 29, FBI investigators were allegedly seen leaving Katherine’s family’s Rhode Island home with a plastic bag with “DNA” printed on the side. They sought a sample of Katherine’s genetic coding after a female’s DNA was reportedly found on at least one of the bombs.
On May 1, it was reported that three more suspects were taken into custody in relation to the horrific bombing at the Boston Marathon.
“Three additional suspects taken into custody in Marathon bombing case. Details to follow.” tweeted the Boston Police on May 1.
