Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry stopped by Warner Bros. Studio on April 26 in Hertfordshire, England, to receive a first class royal tour of the studios where the legendary Harry Potter movies were made.
Prince William & Kate Middleton: ‘Harry Potter’ Set Visit
The royals, who were joined by Potter creator J.K. Rowling and hundreds of screaming fans, officially inaugurated the newly opened studio. They were also on hand to use their high profile status to support the British creativity in the film arts.
All three of them looked dashing. In fact, the royals resembled Harry, Ron & Hermione as they waved their wands!
We have to give it up to Kate, who looked rather regal for the affair. The pregnant duchess sported a black and white, Polk-a-dot maternity dress (from TopShop) with a black jacket. She was also photographed holding a simple, black clutch.
Nearly 500 young Potter fans, along with their parents, accompanied the royals as they toured the studio’s new The Making of Harry Potter spectacle, which featured a behind-the-scenes look at all the British talent that helped make the Harry Potter phenomenon.
The ever gracious royals got a chance to meet with some of the studio’s creative teams, saw set models, props and costumes, and even had the opportunity to receive a wand lesson in the Gryffindor Common Room as they watched a special effects demonstration on Diagon Alley.
How cool, right?
Now it’s your turn to sound off, HollywoodLifers. Do you think Will and Kate are the most down-to-earth royals ever?
