Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are still together, but they’re reportedly not planning on hearing any wedding bells for some time — the couple is postponing their wedding, a source tells People magazine.
Miley and Liam had been planning on tying the knot this summer, but have now decided to dial it back, says the source. “They want to figure out their life together before they get married,” the source told People.
The couple has been going through a difficult time as of late. It all started in late February when Liam was spotted partying with sexy actress January Jones at an Oscars pre-party. That was followed by both Liam and Miley being photographed without their engagement rings and the couple spending a considerable amount of time apart when Liam traveled to Australia and Manila without his fiancee.
But for those who think that this postponement is a bad sign for the couple, the source insists that there’s nothing to worry about: “They’re still engaged and living together. They just realized that there is no rush with the wedding and that it’s better that they wait a bit.”
It was merely an instance of Liam and Miley wanting to be sure of themselves before having a big wedding ceremony, a second source told People: “they were never in a rush to get married,” the source says.
