Amanda Bynes Appears ‘Psychotic’ In Twitter Video, Says Psychiatrist
Amanda took to Twitter on April 15 to post a bizarre video of herself getting ready and making strange faces. A top psychiatrist tells HollywoodLife.com that Amanda appears to possibly be suffering from Bipolar disorder.
Amanda Bynes‘ behavior keeps getting increasingly strange. The 27-year-old’s video, is the latest in a series of odd tweets from the former actress. Amanda posted a video of herself on April 15 getting ready in a bathroom and it has many people worried about her.
Amanda Bynes Appears Psychotic Says Psychiatrist
Dr. Carole Lieberman, who has never met Amanda, says that this video is incredibly disturbing because it shows Amanda talking to herself.
“This video is very suggestive of someone who is psychotic,” Dr. Lieberman M.D., psychiatrist and author of Bad Girls: Why Men Love Them & How Good Girls Can Learn Their Secrets says. “Amanda seems to be making faces at, and talking to, some unseen person. And, although it’s possible that there is actually a person off-camera, it seems more likely that she is having an auditory or visual hallucination.”
Dr. Lieberman was once a psychiatric resident at Bellevue Emergency Room and she says she would immediately admit her if she witnessed her acting like this.
“Amanda’s behavior has gone beyond eccentric or the usual Hollywood starlet bids for attention,” she says. “She has been increasingly manifesting symptoms of a serious psychiatric disorder, which may include a combination of alcohol abuse, drug abuse and mental illness such as schizophrenia or manic-depressive illness.”
Amanda’s Recent Strange Behavior
Amanda was reportedly kicked out of the W Hotel in NYC last month for walking around naked in the hallways. We told you that she ran out on her hair bill and she’s been posting strange messages on Twitter nonstop.
Recently she admitted on Twitter to an eating disorder, shaving her head and saying she doesn’t speak to her parents anymore.
