Selena Gomez Reveals 21st Birthday Plans
The big 2-1 is coming fast for Selena! Talking with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, the actress revealed that she’s already got an awesome party in the works. Keep reading for the details!
When Selena Gomez turns 21 on July 22, she’s going to throw a blowout party to end all blowouts. At least that’s the impression she gave during an interview with Ryan Seacrest.
Selena Gomez Throwing A Big Birthday Party
“I’m gonna have a big party,” Selena revealed on On Air With Ryan Seacrest. It’s a milestone birthday for Selena — she’ll finally be able to order a drink (legally) — and she seems to be preparing to celebrate appropriately.
“It’s gonna end up at my house,” the singer said. Selena revealed that she and her mom are spearheading the party plans and that they already have a few themes in mind. “I wanted to do like a hip-hop theme,” she said. That’s not too much of a surprise — Selena’s love for hip-hop has been well-documented, and you can’t really go wrong with a hip-hop party. Though consider us disappointed that Selena’s not throwing a Spring Breakers-themed party.
Ryan had one suggestion for a theme: “Hydrate.” Good advice!
Selena Gomez’s 21st Birthday Party: Will Justin Bieber Be Invited?
Selena admitted to Ryan that she basically just told all of her friends to save the date for her blowout party. So we’re wondering: Did Justin Bieber get an invite? Selena has spent her last two birthdays as Justin’s girlfriend, so it might actually be a harder day for her than she estimates, and she might actually want him there.
Selena and Justin have been good friends for so long, so maybe she’ll throw him a bone and invite him. Though if Justin continues his all-out bad boy ways, he’s not going to get invited to anyone’s birthday party!
