Lena Headey: ‘Game Of Thrones’ Star Has ‘Less Than $5’ To Her Name

Though she’s the top-billed actress on one of the biggest shows on TV, Lena is struggling to make ends meet. In obtained legal documents, the actress admits she’s living completely on credit, with hardly any money in her bank account.

Lena Headey is claiming to a judge that she is flat out broke and pleading for at least $6,000 from her divorced husband, Peter Loughran.

Lena Headey: Cersei Lannister Having Money Problems

The Game of Thrones star says she has “less than $5 in her bank account” and that she has been living on credit (we’re trying VERY hard not to touch the “A Lannister always pays his debts” joke) in order to live and support her two-year-old son, in legal documents obtained by TMZ.

Lena’s admission comes in response to her ex-husband’s request for half of the couple’s $46,000 tax refund from 2011, which technically could be confiscated as community property.

The judge has reportedly thrown out BOTH requests, so it is currently unclear how or if Lena and Peter will be able to split the money.

Lena’s financial struggles are surprising and tragic considering she’s currently on a hugely successful television show. You’d think HBO was compensating Lena appropriately and sufficiently, though she’s clearly hanging on by a string right now.

In the legal document filed by the actress, she did admit that she’s expecting to receive acting income in the future, but right now she needs money to make ends meet for her and her son.
