Lindsay Lohan stirred up speculation on April 1 when she tweeted that she was pregnant. Although the social media blast was sent late in the day, Lindsay later confirmed what everyone speculated — it was an April Fools’ Day prank.
The Anger Management guest star sent the simple tweet at 10:35 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on April 1:
“Its official. Pregnant…”
The next day, she confirmed what many had assumed to be true — the self-started pregnancy rumors were all in good fun:
“April Fools. Where’s everyone’s sense of humor?”
Lindsay Lohan Deletes April Fools’ Day Tweets
Although not many people took Lindsay’s pregnancy tweet seriously, it appears that even she wasn’t happy with how her prank unfolded — she deleted the tweets shortly after clarifying the joke.

Regardless of how LiLo felt about her so-called prank, it soon became a worldwide trending topic, and the media was a buzz with the reports. The tweet itself had been retweeted 9,000 within an hour of it being sent out!
But followers and fans had different reactions to the “news.”
“Lindsay Lohan, pregnant? How is she gonna survive without drugs and booze for the next few months?” @mr_aly tweeted on April 2.
“Lindsay Lohan tweeted that she’s pregnant. In related news, soon I will no longer be the worst parent in the universe,” Darth Vader’s parody account @DepressedDarth wrote on April 2.
