Farrah Abraham is absolutely desperate for 15 more minutes of reality TV fame, according to Carson Underwood. HollywoodLife.com spoke with Carson, who told us that he met Farrah at an American Music Awards after party on Nov. 18, 2012 in LA and that was the only time that they ever hung out in person! You’ll never believe what happened next.
Carson went on to tell HollywoodLife.com that he and Farrah spoke for a few months via text and things definitely got flirty. But she never came out to LA again, and he even offered to fly her out.
“It took me a good two months before I googled who she was,” Carson tells us. “[Being on Teen Mom] didn’t bother me. She’s a nice person, I had no issues with her. The possibility of going on a date always came up. I told her I’d fly her out, but she thought she was getting a spin-off and she didn’t come out.”
Carson says things took a turn when she started becoming really possessive in February and started asking him if he would ever date her.
“She had almost borderline psychotic episodes,” he says. ” She said ‘Are you single? Would you be interested in dating me?’ and I told her, ‘you know when you came out here, we would do dinner, drinks.’ But she didn’t like that.”
Carson claims that Farrah was telling producers at VH1 that he was her boyfriend so that she could star on Couples Therapy.
“She was using me more as her boyfriend and representing me to VH1 as her boyfriend,” he told us. “I notified them and I said I don’t know where she came up with this.”
Carson says that he called Farrah to tell her the news that he wouldn’t be on the show on March 17: “It was on the phone, she said, ‘I can’t discuss this right now but whatever!’ I said I wanted to cease contact and Monday she received the news from VH1 that they would be passing on her.”
Carson says that when he woke up on the following day on March 18, the same morning of Farrah’s DUI arrest, that she had de-friended him on Facebook and blocked him on Twitter. We told you that Farrah was arrested for an alleged DUI that day because police say her blood alcohol registered at a .174, twice the legal limit in her home state of Nebraska.
“She took the relationship and exploited it,” he tells us. “It was an attack on my credibility as a human being.”
But Carson says he has no hard feelings: “In the end I wish her all the best and I hope she places priorities on her daughter. We never dated, I met her once for a few hours, I found her to be interesting. It just erupted into this whole other nightmare.”
Interestingly enough, TMZ is reporting that MTV’s Catelynn Lowell and her fiance, Tyler Baltierra, have just joined the cast of Couples Therapy.
HollywoodLife.com has reached out to both Farrah and VH1 for comment.
