The super pregnant ‘Fashion Star’ mentor stopped by ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ on March 5, and revealed she is much more sick in her pregnancy this time around — and doesn’t even crave junk food! Watch her interview.
Jessica Simpson hasn’t been shy about admitting how much weight she gained during her pregnancy with daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, 10 months, but when the Fashion Star mentor visited Ellen Degeneres on her daytime talk show on March 6, she revealed she’s been much healthier this time around — because she has felt so sick!
Jessica, who won’t say how far long she is in her pregnancy (but looks to be well into her second trimester at least), revealed that when she was pregnant the first time around, it was a pleasant experience.
“With Maxwell, I felt amazing. Like I could do everything, eat everything. Do whatever I wanted. I had a lot of energy,” she told Ellen.
Jessica’s Second Pregnancy ‘Complete Opposite’ Of First
But while carrying her second baby, her pregnancy is “the complete opposite,” she revealed.
“This time around . . . I’m like exhausted. Eating Tums. That’s my snack of choice.” Munching on the antacids to ease her stomach is a stark contrast from her first pregnancy, during which the singer gained an estimated 60 pounds — and ate all of her favorite foods, including macaroni and cheese and Pop-tarts with butter.
She told Ellen that she’s “much healthier” this time around, and isn’t bogged down by wild high-fat cravings anyway.
“I’m not really craving as much and I know how hard it is to get off so I’m trying to make healthier, wiser decisions,” she said.
