Christian Siriano presented his most glamorous and sophisticated collection yet for Fall 2013. And guess what? The glammy dressed-up looks were perfect for the ‘Project Runway’ winner’s favorite celebrity, Heidi Klum as well as rocker Ashlee Simpson, who was sitting front row.
Designer Christian Siriano, 27, is no stranger to stars wearing his looks — and he clearly had red carpets in mind big time when he put together his collection of glittering black, red and gold dresses, gowns and formal pant-suits. And yes, it felt like even the black pieces glittered – everything had shine.
Christian believes that women should dress up next fall. Even his day outfits are sexy and have an after-5 look, almost all presented in midnight black.
If you want every eye looking at you when you walk into a room then get ready to slip into his body- slimming shiny black single-breasted short coat with faux fur paneled sleeves and mega faux fur trim worn with bare legs and super hot gold-laced back boots.
Or how about a gold snakeskin-fabric fitted bomber and matching skirt?
Christian Siriano Reveals What Inspired His Collection To HollywoodLife.com
Liquid gold is a Christian Siriano love and he’s sewn up liquid gold mini day dresses as well as cropped evening pantsuits and strapless gold evening dresses with netted overlays.
For a more formal occasion, Christian has designed a velvety sleeveless black gown with a satin black peplum or an ethereal glittering gold bustier topping a black sparkly netted ballerina-length skirt.
“I wanted it to feel glamorous,” he exclusively told HollywoodLife.com backstage the show. “I was inspired by the Golden Age of Russian Opera, but still wanted it to feel modern.”
Admitting the collection, which had some fully hand-beaded gowns, was “a lot of work,” Christian is proud of his line — as he should be! With a collection this awards-show ready, we won’t be surprised if Heidi, Ashlee and lots of other Hollywooders step out in lots of his sexy looks.
