What I find sad is that so much attention is drawn to Reeva Steenkamp’s life as a model, and so little attention is drawn to her intellect. Then again, I also find it sad that Reeva herself would have dumped her law degree, dyed her lovely natural dark hair, and dumbed herself down in order to be a model. She was never going to be a supermodel, and it’s ridiculous when people refer to her as one. Supermodels are twice her height, and almost half her age. What was going on in the mind of this young but mature, intelligent woman when she posed in semi-pornographic pictures for men’s magazines? This is what i find so sad- that a woman of such intelligence, and awareness of the way in which women are objectified, was also desperate to be viewed as an object of desire by men at large… It doesn’t make any sense to me. Reeva and Oscar are a sad pair, and hopefully something can be learnt so that this does not happen again. I believe she knew he was potentially violent, but something in her could not stop being drawn to the very kind of man she so publicly sought to teach the rest of the world about…

Does any one know from which brand that black dress she’s wearing and where I could find it?
Pleasy reply!

I think it’s a good idea. I have never heard of Reeva before this tragedy and I now would like to see her and pay tribute to her. If it means more people will watch and bring Awareness to domestic abuse it a good thing. God bless her.
