All eyes will be on the fashionable First Lady, and we have a few high-fashion frocks in mind for the special occasion!

The First Lady, Michelle Obama, is preparing for the 57th Presidential Inauguration on Jan. 21, and we are sure she will look stunning in a gorgeous ensemble for the big night. Fashion is one of her favorite things, and it shows in every piece that she wears.

With all of the fame that Michelle brought designer Jason Wu at the last inauguration in 2009. when she wore one of his beautiful gowns, we are at the edge of our seats waiting for what she will pull out of her closet next! Will she wear a new designer, or will she wear one of her faves?

According to Women’s Wear Daily, Michelle will most likely wear one of these eight contenders: Michael Kors, Derek Lam, Naeem Khan, Marchesa, Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu, Bibhu Mohapatra, and Thakoon Panichgul. Of course, no one can ever be certain. She may choose an up-and-coming designer to skyrocket him or her into fame, just as she did for Wu. A few other possibilities are Barbara Tfank, Narcisco Rodriguez, and Tracy Reese because she has donned some flowing frocks by them in the past.

There’s no denying the fact that the latest Naeem Khan collection had gorgeous gowns that are perfect for the First Lady. In fact, when they came down the runway we were convinced they were made for her! The same could be said about many of the other designers as well.

There are also predictions being made about who her two adorable gals, Natasha Obama and Malia Obama, and what they will wear for their dad’s big moment. In the past, they have sported cute pieces by Chris Benz, Anthropologie, ASOS and Zara. With Michelle as their mom, we are expecting big things — and we’ll be watching!

Which designer do you think Michelle will wear at the inauguration on Jan. 21? Will it be one we have seen on her at past events, or will it be a new guy or gal? Let us know what YOU think, and VOTE on whether you think she will choose a familiar name or show up sporting a brand new designer!
