New mommy Adele, 24, will attend the upcoming Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 13, marking her first major public outing since giving birth to her son with fiancé Simon Konecki in October. The singer is nominated for original song for the James Bond theme, “Skyfall”.
Adele’s baby boy was born in London on Oct.18. This is Adele’s first child and her fiancé’s second child. Simon has a daughter from his ex-wife. So far, Adele has not made the name of her son public.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Adele, who has never been a fan of the spotlight, went into hiding after finding out she was pregnant. The singer has only made three appearances since her big win at The Grammy Awards back in February of 2012. Adele won six awards, including Song of the Year!
Adele’s “Skyfall” song will go up against Taylor Swift‘s hit song “Safe and Sound” from The Hunger Games, Jon Bon Jovi‘s track “Not Running Anymore” from Stand Up Guys, Keith Urban‘s single “For You” from Act of Valor and “Suddenly” from Les Miserables.
The Globes Globe Awards will take place Sunday, Jan.13 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel and air on NBC at 5pm PST/8pm EST.
Are you excited to finally see Adele after all these month, HollywoodLifers? Do you hope she wins a Golden Globe Award for “Skyfall”?
