The actress looks absolutely stunning in glam waves and smudgy eye makeup in her brand new ad for the cosmetics brand–do you love the look? Sound off below!
Katie Holmes, 33, just added a new title to her impressive resume! The actress and designer is the new face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and her first ad is out! This is the first if two ads Katie will star in for Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks, launching January 20th. This is the first time the brand has used a celebrity in any of its ad campaigns.
The pairing of Katie and Bobbi Brown is a perfect match. Bobbi Brown is known for her natural approach to beauty and Katie has the same earthy, minimalist aesthetic when it comes to her makeup. Katie has said of the partnership, “I really like her philosophy that makeup makes you feel beautiful.” She’s even been wearing the brand for ages. “I’ve always been a fan of her makeup, because it’s so easy to apply. Her color palettes aren’t extreme, so when I first started wearing makeup it felt comfortable and I didn’t feel like I had too much on, which can happen.”
If you love Katie’s sultry eye makeup, try Bobbi Brown Metallic Long-Wear Cream Shadow in Brown Metal. Use it on your eyelids and below the bottom lash lines.
Not only is this the makeup brand’s first time working with a celebrity spokeswoman, but it’s also Katie’s first time working with a cosmetic’s brand. However, the actress has been a spokesperson for the fashion brand, Ann Taylor, modeling for many of their clothing campaigns.
Katie has proven she’s certainly multi-talented: mom, actress in film, TV and theater, designer and brand spokesperson–what else will she do next! We’ll just have to wait and see!
HollywoodLifers, do YOU think Katie looks more beautiful than ever in her first ad for Bobbi Brown? Sound off below!
