The Playmate wore a blush strapless gown for her New Year’s Eve wedding when she married Hugh Hefner — and we have all the details of her dress right here!
Hugh Hefner tied the knot for the third time on New Year’s Eve, when he wed Crystal Harris at the Playboy Mansion. For the big day, Crystal opted for a blush Romona Keveza mermaid gown made of silk organza. The dress featured a fitted draped bodice with a drop waist and a fluted-shaped skirt made of soft silk organza petals. The mansion was decorated with pink, purple and white flowers, which complimented Crystal’s blush gown perfectly. The bride chose not to wear a viel, styling her blonde hair in loose waves around her shoulders.
While Crystal accepted the 86-year-old’s marriage proposal on December 24, 2010, she broke off the engagement on June 14, 2011, just five days before the date of their first scheduled wedding. The couple reunited in June of 2012, and for their second wedding date, (on New Year’s Eve), Crystal clearly didn’t have any cold feet when she walked down the aisle!
“When the wedding didn’t work out the first time, it was because of me. I needed to explore out there and take the time away [from Hef and the Mansion]. The time away really helped make me realize that where I’m meant to be is here with Hef,” the playmate told Us Weekly. “Our relationship is better than it ever has been before. I’m very happy and Hef’s very happy and we’re excited.”
It looks like the couple is very happy indeed — and what better way to celebrate their love than with a wedding on December 31, 2012. What do you think? Is third time the charm for Hugh? DO you think him and Crystal will stay together forever?
