Jef Holm and Emily Maynard looked all set for a Christmas reunion, after they were spotted on an intimate date AND seen holding hands at a Charlotte, N.C. mall on Dec. 17. However, things have taken a nasty turn, as Emily has accused Jef of using her for fame, and now he is lashing out and calling her “cheap.” Read on for all the details.

Jef Throws Shade At Emily

As previously reported by HollywoodLife.com, Emily and Jef had gotten back together before the holidays, but things took a sour turn when Emily realized how fame hungry Jef is. “Emily put her whole heart into this relationship and is shocked at how much Jef has changed. She feels like he is just using her for fame,” an insider told OK! magazine. Emily was so fed up with Jef’s love of the spotlight that she cancelled their holiday plans.

And he is not happy about it! He tweeted, “Honesty is an expensive gift, don’t expect it from cheap people” on Dec. 27. In one fell swoop he is calling Emily both dishonest and cheap! Is he lashing out at her because he is heartbroken, or because he is angry at her for messing up his chances at publicity?

Jef’s Wandering Eye

Jef has made it obvious that he has options romantically, as he has been seen on several outings with a cute college senior named Katianna Bear, and most recently he was seen cozying up to model Jessica Brittain on Dec. 20 in Salt Lake City. It seems more and more clear that Jef’s reunion with Emily was not inspired by romance at all, and perhaps Jef is just eager for more time in the spotlight.
