Similarities Between ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ & ‘We Found Love’

Taylor’s new video stars Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark actor, Reeve Carney, as her bad-boy boyfriend, and it must be said, the video is very similar to “We Found Love”. Both videos see Taylor and Rihanna breaking down in a field, while both girls are also seen cozying up to a bad boy, getting tattoos, and crying in corner. There is also a wild party scene in both videos.

And let’s not forget fast driving, fireworks and dancing on tables!

Fans’ Reactions To Allegations That Taylor Swift Stole Rihanna’s Video

In an ARTL fan forum, fan’s have lashed out at Taylor for copying Rihanna, as one wrote “No lies. Rihanna’s remains superior” and another said “It’s clearly a copy.” One fan went as far to say that “We Found Love is the video of the year of 2012 though. I Knew You Were Trouble is just another Taylor Swift video.” Ouch!

Taylor Swift’s Opening Monologue

And, like Rihanna’s video, Taylor’s begins with a monologue. It goes:

“I think when it’s all over it just comes back in flashes, you know? It’s like a kaleidoscope of memories. It just all comes back. But he never does. I think part of me knew the second I saw him that this would happen. It’s not really anything he said, or anything he did, it was the feeling that came along with it and the crazy thing is, I don’t know if I’m ever going to feel that way again. But I don’t know if I should. I knew his world moved too fast and burned too bright but I just thought, how can the devil be pulling you towards someone who looks so much like an angel when he smiles at you. Maybe he knew that when he saw me. I guess I just lost my balance. I think that the worst part of it all wasn’t losing him, it was losing me.”

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Is Taylor copying Rihanna, or is it just a random coincidence?
