On the Nov. 26 episode of Teen Mom 2, Jenelle Evans buys second-row tickets to the Ke$ha concert, only to find out her jail sentence would get in the way. Meanwhile, Chelsea Houska prepares for Aubry’s second birthday, and Leah Messer‘s divorce is finally 100 percent final.
Chelsea throws Aubry’s second birthday party — and Adam is conveniently MIA.
Even though Chelsea pays her own rent now — a huge feat from the first two seasons — her dad Randy spots some of baby daddy Adam Lind’s prized possessions at Chelsea’s house, and is livid with the idea of Adam living with his daughter. Chelsea insists they are not, but Randy is not convinced.
Regardless, Adam and Randy still get in a huge fight, and Adam shows his disdain by threatening to not show up to his own daughter’s birthday party. For whatever reason, Chelsea is surprised by Adam’s lack of consideration for anyone but himself — and can’t stop complaining about him acting like the selfish jerk he always has been.
On Aubry’s big day, Chelsea decorates the party room in (what else) hot pink and leopard decorations, and is still somehow shocked that Adam hasn’t shown up to help, let alone see his daughter. Two hours later, Adam finally arrives, and looks like he would rather be literally anywhere else. He does give her a pink bike though, which is a bit large for a two-year-old, and half-heartedly tries to teach her to ride it in the parking lot.
At the end of the party, Chelsea and Adam are still at odds, Aubry has a ton of new toys, and Randy still wants nothing to do with his daughter’s baby daddy.
Leah feels like Corey chose a new truck over their marriage
Leah meets up with Corey him to hand over the girls, and she notices his new truck — which is probably the most spiteful move he could make. At the end of their marriage, Leah wanted a new home, and Corey wanted a new truck — and it was one of the fights that led to their demise. This doesn’t escape Leah, and she quips, “Sure you can afford child support with a new truck?”
She is livid, and tells her friend that all she wanted was a home for her girls, and he was selfish in wanting a truck instead. She again brings up that she tried everything to make their marriage work (aside from sleeping with her ex-boyfriend the night before her wedding), and he was the one who gave up. When Leah and Corey meet up again to hand over the girls, they get into another argument — and Corey reiterates that he could only take so much.
“It’s done,” Leah says, and they both agree they can get along for the girls. In a couple days, they meet in court to finalize their divorce. After the papers are signed, and their marriage is 100 percent over, they meet to discuss.
“So, we’re divorced,” Leah tells Corey outside the courthouse. “I wish you the best.” Corey, with fresh dip in his mouth, gets teary-eyed. But it’s clear he’s still a committed dad.
Kailyn is heated over Jo’s drunk pics when he should be watching Issaac
Kailyn is still trying to make things work with Jordan, despite her feelings for Jo still. But when she sees Facebook pics of her ex with his new girl V — where they have clearly been drinking during a Friday night when he has visitation — she loses it.
She doesn’t think it’s right AT ALL that Jo is (supposedly) drinking and spending time with his (hotter) new girlfriend during one of the two nights he has with his son. Even if it were well after Isaac went to bed. Regardless, Kailyn doesn’t want her baby daddy to pawn off their son just so he can go party on the weekends.
Under the guise of protecting Isaac — and not at all about being jealous of her ex’s new girlfriend — she meets with a lawyer to discuss changing the custody agreement of Isaac. Her lawyer said she could swing for letting Jo see his son ever other weekend instead of every weekend.
“I know there are a ton of people who drink underage, but they don’t have kids,” Kailyn says. If Jo isn’t spending time with him, then I should. If Jo doesn’t agree, then they’ll take the fight to court — and according to next week’s preview, that’s exactly what happens!
Jenelle thinks Ke$ha is more important than getting off probation
Jenelle meets with her friend Tori — the two have made up after physically attacking each other months earlier — and confesses that she can’t stop smoking pot. If she has to keep taking drug tests on probation, she will fail them. Guaranteed.
She also can’t hang out with any of her old friends since they all smoke, so she invites Tori to the Ke$ha concert — second row in Ralleigh! — and is stoked to see her “idol” live.
When Jenelle and her lawyer Dustin meet in person to discuss the terms of her jail sentence, Dustin has great news. Instead of the original 45 days, Jenelle only has to serve three weeks in prison in exchange for being off probation — and the random drug tests she knows she’ll fail.
However, Jenelle brings up the Ke$ha concert, which is supposed to happen during her time in jail and she CANNOT miss it. Seriously, Ke$ha is her idol and her hair inspiration. Jenelle even considers being back on probation to see the party girl pop star live.
But all that seems futile when Jenelle is served a random drug test during a surprise visit by her probation officer. Not surprisingly, she fails and is thrown back in jail. She calls her mom, and begs Barbara to front the $1,000 to bail her out of jail.
“Sit in jail, and pay the price.” Babs yells at her daughter. Even though Jenelle insists she’ll change, her mom knows the truth. “You’ll hap in your cah, and I won’t see you for a week,” Barbara yells over the phone.
