After suffering a miscarriage in 2010, the TV journalist is expecting her first child with husband Paul Song — and it’s a girl! Congrats to the happy couple!
Lisa Ling and her husband, physician and biotech firm president Paul Song, are going to be parents to a baby girl! Lisa announced her exciting news on Anderson Cooper‘s daytime talk show Anderson Live, which will air on Oct. 24.
The journalist, whose documentary series Our America currently airs on OWN, also revealed a sonogram on the talk show.
After suffering a miscarriage in 2010, the pregnancy is a happy moment for the 39-year-old and her husband of five years. She opened up on The View at the time about her devastating loss.
“I felt more like a failure than I’d felt in a very long time,” she said. “When I heard the doctor say there was no heartbeat it was like bam, like a knife through the heart.”
We’re so excited for Lisa and Paul!
