After seeing the ratings for his ‘Daily Show’ on the night he had Robert Pattinson as a guest, Jon Stewart is thinking of ditching his political format and sticking with vampire talk! Read on to see what Jon said about Rob’s visit!

Jon Stewart is rethinking his entire show format after having Robert Pattinson as a guest on August 13. In the next night’s show on August 14, Jon indulged fans with a clip of a shirtless Rob, a pic of Taylor Lautner, political vampire v. werewolf comparisons and more!

“Last night we had on Robert Pattinson, who was … handsome,” Jon said. “Anyway, there is a great deal of interest online because of the thing that happened with Kristen Stewart, and he’s in the Twilight movies.”

“It made me realize that I have, after seeing the ratings, for the past 15 years, been focused on doing the program on subjects that are – let me just show you the tweets from the first 15 minutes of last night’s show” and showed a photo of a phone with a tweet from “RPattslover” that read “totes lame #yawn” — LOL!

Jon tried to keep his new-found audience by putting a bar on the bottom of the screen that said, “Wait! Don’t Leave! Here is a picture of Taylor Lautner …Edition!”

Jon then did a segment comparing Mitt Romney to a vampire and President Obama to a werewolf and had them competing for the love of a young…America. The show cut back to Jon, who was wearing plastic fangs!

Kudos to Jon for indulging fans and making light of the situation!

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Will you keep watching The Daily Show?

Jon is very entertaining when he has the right guests and stays away from so much politics. Yes, I’ll watch him if he can do a little reconstructing.

If Jon can stay away from all the political crap, I would watch his show. I get tired of hearing all the political BS. When he has interesting people on his show it is fun to watch. He’s funny. In the past I only watch maybe about 5 minutes of his shows before turning it off because of all the politiccal crap. If I wants politics I’ll watch fox news or CNN and listen to all their lies.

That’s kinda the whole point of his show. It’s a political news shows parody.
