William & Kate's $266 A Night Anniversary Night Country Inn
HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY confirm that Prince William and Kate Middleton stayed at the romantic Westleton Crown Inn on the eve of their wedding anniversary and even had breakfast in the downstairs pub.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are so in love! HollywoodLife.com spoke to historic The Westleton Crown Inn near Saxmundham, Suffolk and they told us that William and Kate stayed at their inn on April 28, the night before their one year wedding anniversary! “The Westleton Crown was delighted that Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge stayed with them after going to Kate’s friend’s wedding on Saturday 28th April,” The Westleton Crown’s General Manager Gareth Clarke released in a statement to HollywoodLife.com. “The couple were among other wedding guests that stayed at The Westleton Crown for the weekend. We were delighted that the groom’s family had chosen The Westleton Crown for a house party and base for the weekend.”
We are told that after the royal couple checked in following Kate’s close friend Hannah Gillingham‘s wedding, they sipped on drinks at the bar before “retiring” to the Swan room, which boasts a contemporary four poster bed — and a bath big enough for two! The following morning, they joined the rest of the wedding guests staying at the hotel for a wholesome breakfast of eggs and bacon before returning to their own cottage in Anglesey, Wales.
“It was certainly a surprise to all the team when they arrived,” General Manager Gareth told us. “It’s not every day that you get to serve the second in line to the throne. The atmosphere was very relaxed though and everyone seemed to have a great time.”
The room, which is described as one of Westleton Crown’s ‘best’ rooms, also came with a duck down duvet and luxury Egyptian cotton bed linens.Prince William and Kate are really so much like us. They didn’t expect any special treatment and after their breakfast they headed home where kate cooked the couple’s evening anniversary meal. Awww!
