Sam might have missed some lessons on ancient Greek heroes, but that didn’t stop him from totally embodying the role of brave and beefy demigod Perseus in ‘Wrath of the Titans!’
From the moment Sam Worthington straps on his sandals in Wrath of the Titans, he is Perseus — half god, half human and all sex appeal. But when we caught up with the Aussie hunk at the world premiere of Titans in NYC on Mar. 26, he let us in on a little secret! Find out what he revealed to HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY after the jump!
As the son of Liam Neeson‘s Zeus, king of the gods, Sam’s character has to deal with family drama, fight monsters and travel to hell and back — literally — to save the world from destruction.
So when we ran into the Sam on the red carpet, we couldn’t help asking the Avatar star if he was interested in ancient Greek mythology before working on the film.
“I actually skipped that class in school when I was 14,” Sam laughed. “Of course, I never thought I’d ever get to play Perseus.”
Sam was quite the rebel when he was a teenager!
Will YOU see Wrath of the Titans in theaters, HollywoodLifers?
