The pressure was on for the coaches to form top-notch teams. The contestants were desperate, the coaches were picky, and Blake… was turned on.

The Voice‘s final round of blind auditions began Feb. 27 with each coach looking for two more contestants to complete their teams, except for Cee Lo Green who was missing three. Several performed, but the coaches were not always quick to push their buttons.

Whitney Myer, 25, who was in a band with her father and uncle, sang her own rendition of Alicia Keys’ “No One” and pleased all four coaches. Adam Levine compared to her to Mary J. Blige, and Christina Aguilera went into political-candidate mode promising success, but in the end Whitney decided to join Team Adam.

Next up was David Dunn, 27, an honors student with a degree in engineering, who was not as lucky, but the crowd sure seemed to love him. And Cameron Novak, 29, a diverse musical talent, almost got the coaches to cheat and admit they made a mistake — but he didn’t make it either.

The weirdest act of the night was The Shields Brothers, a garage rock band or rather “farm band,” who the stage with messy hair, leather jackets, and super-skinny jeans in tow. Surprisingly, Cee Lo loved them and turned around.

Lex Land, 24, was the lucky wannabe to turn Blake Shelton on. Her low pitch soothing voice seemed to get the country star going and had him fighting Adam for her. Even though he turned around last, his arousal was enough for Lex and she chose him.

25-year-old blues singer Orlando Napier, who has a criminal record due to a troubled past, sang on the piano — and within seconds, he completed Team Adam. R&B singer Wade, 18, sang Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab” like it was a Cee Lo song, and it was Cee Lo who made him his final team member. That and he got him talking to his cat again.

Finally, sorority girl Adley Stump completed Blake’s team, leaving the last 15 minutes of the show to Christina’s search for her final team member. But first we learned that Blake an Adam may have a bromance flourishing:

“I love you Adam,” said Blake.
“I love you too — in a totally non-sexual way,” responded Adam.
“I can’t say the same,” added Blake.

Looks like a lot of male bonding going on. Maybe that’s why Cee Lo has the cat instead!

So who was the final team X-tina member? R&B singer Sera Hill, 24, who got the pop diva up and signing and to eventually join her on stage. Oh, how Christina loves the limelight.

And that wrapped up the auditions. Next week the battle rounds, where the contestants go up against each other to compete for the six spots on each team.

What did you guys think of the completed teams? Who do you think has the strongest team?
