Emma showed off two very different looks at the 2012 Academy Awards on Feb. 26. Which was your favorite?
Hollywood darling Emma Stone wasn’t up for an Oscar this year for her work in The Help, but she was certainly a fashion winner, stepping out in not one, but two totally different dresses on Hollywood’s biggest night!
On the red carpet and during the ceremony, where Emma flexed her funny bone while presenting an award with Ben Stiller, the 23-year-old went glam in a raspberry couture Giambattista Valli creation. With that oversized bow around her neck, Emma made one of the biggest fashion statements of the night! Not to go overboard, she finished off the look with a simple updo, minimal jewelry and a metallic clutch. The dress was a bit of an odd choice given Emma’s skin tone and hair color, but we think she pulled off the look flawlessly!
Following the ceremony, Emma did a 180 and showed up to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in a striking black Chanel number. In spite of the interesting sheer detailing that showed off her great legs, we’re not really feeling this peplum dress! We usually love Emma’s red carpet style, but we can’t help thinking the ingenue missed the mark on this one.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Which of Emma’s Oscars looks was your favorite? Tell us and VOTE!
