We’re sure every mom wishes they knew back then, what they know now, when it comes to motherhood. Lucky for Beyonce, we spoke to Jennifer Hudson who offered up some golden parenting advice to the new mom!
HollywoodLife.com caught up with Jennifer Hudson who spilled her own parenting advice to Beyonce on Jan. 10th at a cocktail party celebrating her Good Housekeeping February cover, and new book, I Got This. We hope you’re listening, Beyonce!
“Girl, get your sleep,” Jennifer told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “We had talks about this when I had my munchkin. But, um, it goes so fast. Like the baby is 3 days or so now? She’s going to look up and she’s going to be six months and next thing you know she’s going to be walking and you’ll be like ‘what happened?’ So just embrace it and because the type of lifestyles you know we live it’s a lot of times other people have to care for your children and things like that, but you’ve got to have that mommy time. So embrace it and enjoy it.”
We totally love your advice Jennifer! It’s so refreshing to hear her talk about how important it is to be an involved mom rather than leaving the dirty work to handlers and nannies. Jennifer is the mom of two-year-old David Daniel Otunga Jr. Maybe in a year or two David and Blue Ivy Carter can put a play date on the calendar? That would be adorable!
What parenting advice would YOU give to Beyonce, Hollymoms? Sound off in your comments below!
