This weekend, it was all about dressing up sexy black lace with pops of colorful pumps! Who do you think wore the look best?

Lace is a huge trend this season and it’s perfect for this time of year, when there’s so many holiday parties — but it’s most popular on the red carpet! Both Nina Dobrev and Brooklyn Decker looked lovely in lace this weekend — but it was their colorful pumps that really stood out on the red carpet!

Nina opted for a sexy yet chic Monique Lhuillier ensemble when she turned up at The Ripple Effect charity event in LA on Dec. 11, while Brooklyn went for a flirty and fun short frock by Nha Khanh at the Spike TV’s 2011 Video Game Awards. While their dresses definitely caught my attention, it was their colorful choice of footwear that really stood out!

Nina paired her frock with hot pink Brian Atwood pumps, while Brooklyn opted for yellow Jimmy Choo’s — their bright shoes definitely added a fun element to their dark dresses! While Brooklyn usually keeps things interesting on the red carpet, Nina is quickly becoming one to watch — and we love her looks!

Who do you think worked the trend best?
