All I want for Christmas was for Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Liam (Matt Lanter) to get back together, and what do you know, my big wish was finally granted on the Dec. 6 episode of 90210. Of course, their reunion didn’t come without a few (literal) bumps in the road. In fact, I’m not totally sure if they’re “back together” at all. Humbug!
Even though Annie poured her heart — and body — out to him, Liam told her he didn’t want to get back together until she had her life under control. For her, that meant getting Marla’s necklace back from Jeremy (Matt Cohen.) And while Jeremy may look good in a tank top — damn good, in fact — he revealed an ugly side this week when Annie recorded him calling Marla a bitch and bragging about how much money he was going to get from her. As Annie put it ever-so-eloquently, she’s about to be a very “rich bitch.”
Meanwhile, Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) discovered her internship wasn’t quite as glamorous as she thought it would be. It turns out it’s going to be a lot less party planning, and a lot more coffee fetching. Equally displeased with Naomi’s new gig was Holly (Megalyn Echikunwoke), who bitched Naomi out for stealing everything from her. But it was Holly who did the real stealing, as Naomi caught her making out with a less-than-clothed Austin (Justin Deeley) at the end of the night. Good luck explaining your way out of this one, cowboy!
Speaking of bad situations, Navid (Michael Steger) and Kat’s (Tiffany Hines) little sting operation didn’t go as well as they’d hoped. In fact, the baddies discovered Navid’s wire and proceeded to kick the crap out of him. He ended up looking all gross and swollen in the hospital — seriously, like Elephant Man ugly — which is where Kat finally confessed that she’s had feelings for him ever since they kissed in Vegas.
Overhearing Kat’s little confession helped Silver (Jessica Stroup) decide to give her relationship with Greg (Nial Matter) a chance — even after he told her he’s still technically married. He also told her he has a daughter, which leads me to my next question: Do we think it’s possible his daughter is actually Adrianna’s (Jessica Lowndes) adopted baby? We know the baby is coming back this season, and she did talk about the baby with Dixon (Tristan Wilds) right before Silver stopped by to see Greg. We met the adoptive parents back in season one, but a little re-casting isn’t unheard of.
The episode ended, as all episodes should, with Annie declaring her love for Liam. In fact, I believe her exact words were “I never stopped loving you.” Sadly, she said all of this to his voicemail instead of to his face — which ended up bruised and bloody in the middle of the street. While driving to catch Annie at the airport, Liam was hit by a car. And who was driving said car? Why, it was none other than Vampire Diaries fan-favorite Arielle Kebbel!
Welcome to Beverly Hills, Miz Kebbel. I love you, but something tells me you’re going to make a real mess of things.
