The Nov. 21 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills opens with the unexpected intervention that took place at Lisa Vanderpump‘s tea party on last week’s episode. Camille Grammer speaks out about the alleged abuse rumors swirling about Taylor and Russell Armstrong‘s marriage — and she does not hold back.
“We don’t say that he hits you. Because we don’t say that he broke your jaw or beat you up and he hits you. We don’t say that, but now we’ve said it,” Camille warns Taylor. “You need to be honest because that’s not cool.”
The next day, Camille continuously texts Taylor in hopes of providing a reasonable apology, but Taylor was not going to give in that easily. Adrienne Maloof and Kyle Richards understand how Taylor is feeling, but does not think Camille should feel as if she was in the wrong.
Camille says, “I was just trying to be a friend and when you hear something like that you just want to reach out and help them…It’s almost like the elephant in the room that we can’t talk about.”
Taylor is also busy planning her daughter Kennedy’s fifth “county fair” themed birthday party. American Idol alum Ace Young wrote and performed a special song for Kennedy’s birthday, which Taylor is ecstatic to witness.
Meanwhile, Lisa skips out on Kennedy’s birthday party in order to help plan her daughter Pandora Vanderpump‘s bachelorette party and wedding. The bachelorette party is being hosted at Planet Hollywood –– an idea that is bound to cause some drama with Adrienne Maloof, whose family is affiliated with top competitor Palms Resort and Casino.
Back at Kennedy’s birthday party, all the housewives arrive and a potential feud arises when Brandi Glanville decides this would be the perfect time to clear the air with Kim Richards. Luckily, the housewives decide against an all-out brawl at the birthday party and instead Kim refuses to apologize to Brandi. “The way she spoke to me was disgusting and I have no desire to apologize,” she says.
The episode concludes with the ever-present subject of Taylor and Russell’s rocky marriage. Kyle says, “I don’t know what to think of Taylor and Russell’s marriage. They’re happy, they’re not happy, there’s trouble, there’s not trouble…he’s more concerned about everybody seeing him as father of the year.”
Taylor settles the issue in a testimonial at the conclusion of the episode. “Russell and I have a difficult marriage…Finding real happiness with another person takes a lot of work,” she says.
With the more recent events surrounding the housewives, this is a chilling end to the serious subject of this episode. What did you think of the latest episode of RHOBH, HollywoodLifers?
