Howard doesn’t hold back when HollywoodLife.com asked how he felt about the longtime Penn State football coach being fired after he allegedly covered up a sex scandal involving his assistant football coach, who has been accused of raping young boys.
Howard Stern does not stand for child abuse and neither should you! HollywoodLife.com spoke to the infamous Sirius/XM “shock jock” about the unfolding scandal involving legendary football coach Joe Paterno — watch him explode!
“I think Paterno is a scumbag,” Howard tells us. “I think all of these guys should have stepped up. If I saw a kid getting raped in the shower I would have punched the adult’s teeth out.”
Joe’s former assistant coaches, Jerry Sandusky, has been charged with sexually abusing eight boys over 15 years — and he recently admitted to showering with a 10-year-old, but said there was only “tickling” and “horseplay.”
“No, I don’t believe [what Sandusky said], it’s sad,” Howard continues. “Whenever you live across the street from a playground and you can afford to not live across from a playground … when a playground is oceanfront property … that’s when you know there’s something wrong. So no, I think it’s a shame. I think people talk about protecting children but when it comes down to it they don’t always do it.”
