‘Basketball Wives LA’ star Jackie Christie is blogging for HollywoodLife.com, sharing her thoughts about each episode! Read what she has to say below!
As I watched this episode and reflected back over the season, it was bitter sweet — and I could not help but get a sick feeling in my tummy every time I remembered the Hawaii vacation debacle/blow out or whatever you want to call it. I just don’t like thinking about it. Dishonesty and chaos is not a love of mine by any means, but I have no problem stating my case anytime, anywhere. I knew when we returned home to LA I would be meeting up with the brat pack once again and this time I would lay it all out once and for all!
Even if they were not really into hearing the truth, I still felt we needed to come together and discuss it all as adults (since everyone is over 18) and try to come to a resolution of sorts. I was really hoping all of the girls would have an epiphany and suddenly recall everything they had said about each other and how this mess got started in the first place — which was when Imani came to me and told me what Laura had been saying and also shared her feelings regarding Laura. But hey, it’s all just water under the bridge now. Right? Besides, this he said/she said is enough to drive a person insane
Seeing Matt and Gloria break up was really sad because they were such a good couple. I really hope they can work it out. It brought tears to my eyes when Gloria closed the door after Matt asked her where she sees their relationship.
Well, back to the essence of the episode. The girls kept talking about me calling them? Really? That’s funny because that never happened. With my busy schedule, I barely have time to call my family, let alone a bunch of women I just met. I did call Malaysia once — we actually had a very pleasant conversation regarding the matter at hand — so that was partially true. I’m 100 percent certain she knows the truth as well as I do. Besides, I did in fact give them my phone number in the beginning to freely use any time of the day or night that they wanted. And, believe me, they did!
Moving right along, I have nothing but good feelings over all about how the show turned out. I think it taught me a lot about female friendships or whatever you call that kind of thing.
As you probably noticed, I purposely didn’t say much about the rest of the show because I don’t take kindly to bullying or attempted bullying of any kind. And really, I was very excited to see my models and how great they all looked in the pieces from my line. My hubby Doug made me smile. Having him by my side helping me get them picture perfect was the best. But hey, that’s why Doug is my BFF always. We know, trust and love each other endlessly!
Stay tuned to see if we ever meet again!
