Jennifer Aniston has never looked happier, but could her copycat style push Justin Theroux away? HollywoodLife.com spoke with Dr. Carole Lieberman, and Dr. Gilda Carle who both say although it may seem sweet that Justin and Jen are matchy-matchy, it actually makes Jen look desperate.“Jennifer’s desperation for a husband and a baby has sunk to new levels by her trading in glamorous colorful dresses and heels for Justin’s black bohemian look,” Dr. Lieberman and author of Bad Girls: Why Men Love Them & How Good Girls Can Learn Their Secrets says. “Men don’t want a carbon copy of themselves unless they are incredibly narcissistic, which Justin may well be. Her desperation is making Justin uncomfortable and will hasten his departure.”
Dr. Carle echoes that sentiment and says Justin fell in love with Jen for a reason, not because she was just like him. She warns that if Jen continues down this path, Justin may lose interest in her.
“If she’s looking to identity with him and lose herself in the relationship, she will end up in trouble,” says Dr. Carle, author of Don’t Bet On The Prince. “Any woman that becomes so much like her guy ends up finding the guy loses interest. While women love to get men to change, men want women to stay who they were when they met them.”
While Jen has never looked happier, and she looks sexier than ever, Dr. Carle warns that Jen needs to stay true to herself and not worry about overly pleasing Justin.
“She wants to please too much. If she’s trying to please her man too much she’s going to lose her identity and the romance will be doomed.”
Although two experts say Jen is making herself look desperate, top NYC relationship expert Cooper Lawrence disagrees!
“Jen has been trying to find her identity for such a long time and if Justin offers her a glimpse into that and it’s reflected in the way she dresses I think it’s great. It shows a unity, a ‘we-ness’ that she hasn’t had.
