Ever wonder if all the former ‘Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette’ stars get together for play dates? Well now you can learn the truth!
We all know the Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants are pretty close, but are their kids buddies too? HollyBaby.com met up with former Bachelorette Jen Schefft and she let us in on a little secret about her mom pals like Trista Sutter, Emily Maynard and Melissa Rycroft!
“There’s no baby group that I know of. We’re in the suburbs of Chicago so no Bachelor baby play groups yet, but of course I’d be willing to get all the kids together,” Jen reveals exclusively to HollyBaby.com. “Trista’s kids Max and Blakesly… They’re out in Colorado and we’re in Chicago, but if the opportunity presents itself, I think it would be a blast!” So do we!
As for whether or not Jen would ever let her 9-month-old daughter Mae, with hubby Joe Waterman, appear on TV — like she did — Jen’s a little weary. “I pray that she never wants to do a reality TV show,” Jen admits. “Hopefully I will have raised her right and she will handle herself well. I clearly can’t say no, but we’ll see. Hopefully that wont happen. Hopefully that will never occurr in her life.”
So how does she feel about other stars letting their kids appear in reality shows? Former Bachelorette Melissa Rycroft is currently in the works of creating her own series about new mommyhood!
“I would never bring my kids into a show,” Jen tells HollyBaby.com. “I’m not saying that people shouldn’t.”
“I don’t want to bring my daughter into something where everyone knows her. She’s been in a couple of magazines, but she’ll grow up and no one is going to know what she looks like as opposed to when she was a baby,” Jen adds. “If that’s something that she can’t decide on her own, I dont think it’s fair to bring her in.”
