There have been talks for a while that Carrie Bradshaw’s life before her NYC heartbreaks would be made into a TV series and reportedly the CW is seriously considering it!
Selena Gomez‘s ultimate gig may be right around the corner. HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site Deadline.com is reporting that the CW is considering the teen version of Carrie Bradshaw’s life for their CW lineup. The show would be based on Candace Bushnell‘s recent book The Carrie Diaries. The 19-year-old pop star was reportedly being considered to play Charlotte York in the movie prequel — but maybe she’ll do it on the small screen now!
The series would be headed up by Gossip Girl producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. Former Sex and the City writer/producer Amy Harris would reportedly write the adaptation. Even though Selena is busy touring with her band Selena Gomez and the Scene and she just wrapped filming Wizards of Waverly Place — we think she should totally take this opportunity if it comes her way!
Wouldn’t Selena look adorable with her virgin Cosmo?
