The eccentric popstar teamed up with the luxury retailer, sharing her take on the iconic workshop that once belonged to jolly Santa and his little elves.
While some may say they’re getting a little sick of Lady Gaga, there’s no denying the fact that the fashion-forward songstress is here to stay — and get ready to see a lot of her this holiday season! Barney’s New York announced their brand new campaign for the 2011 holiday season, Gaga’s workshop. Set to debut in mid-November, the Madison Avenue flagship in NYC will transform an entire floor into her workshop — and if you can’t make it to NYC, you can still scoop up a limited edition gift designed by Lady Gaga herself!
For the collaboration with Lady Gaga, the brand enlisted artists like Eli Sudbrack and Christophe Hamaide Pierson of Assume Vivid Astro Focus (AVAF) and Gaga’s stylist, Nicola Formichetti. Images from the workshop can be seen on packaging and shopping bags, while Gaga collaborated on special little presents that will be sold in Gaga’s workshop, as well as in Barney’s New York locations nationwide and online at Barneys.com.
The best part about bringing a little bit of Gaga home is that you’ll also be giving back, with 25% of the sales of items featured in Gaga’s Workshop going to a charity of the popstar’s choice. After all, ’tis the season!
