The shocking truth came to light this week when supermodel Linda appeared in court in New York in a bid to thrash out a custody agreement with Pinault.
No agreement was reached in the the family court hearing and a full trial is expected to take place in the fall, reports the New York Post.
Pinault, 49, didn’t appear in court, because of a misunderstanding, according to his lawyer, who tells the Post, “We had understood that it was to be a brief, telephone conference, to bring (the) magistrate up to date.”
The 46-year-old Victoria’s Secret model has always kept the identity of Augustin’s dad a secret, claiming in the past he was a New York architect. When it was rumored in 2007 that Pinault was the father, both denied the claims.
Augustin was conceived in early 2006, when Salma, 44 and Francois-Henry were ‘on a break’. They later reunited, Valentina was conceived in early 2007 and they married in 2009.
