Thank goodness the smart people at Pixar left the series open-ended in ‘Toy Story 3.’ Audiences can’t get enough!
It looks like Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the gang are gung-ho for another installment of their saga, as Tom Hanks, the voice of Woody, hints at a fourth film.
For Pixar, this means another cash cow. The original Toy Story was the highest grossing movie in 1995, the second holds the record for highest grossing Thanksgiving weekend film earning $5 million in 5 days, and the third is the record holder for highest-grossing animated film worldwide, earning over $1 billion since its release.
For us, this means another great adventure with characters we know and love!
Tom Hanks hesitantly revealed in an interview with BBC, “I think they’re working on it now,” but he also told Showbiz Tonight that he wasn’t a lock for the movie. “I understand it’s happening and if it is, I hope they’ll hire me.”
They have to hire you, Tom! What’s a Toy Story movie without Woody?!
