The stylish a-listers will once again grace the cover of the high-fashion magazine! Are you excited to see them or do you think it’s time the mag featured new faces?
One of the most anticipated (and coveted) magazine cover’s is definitely Vogue‘s September issue — and this year, Kate Moss has been given the honor of cover girl, Page Six reports. The story, which will focus on the mega model’s July nuptials, will be shot by Mario Testino (who also happens to be the photog Kate enlisted for the big day!
Fashionista spoke to a rep at Conde Nast who confirmed the news. For Kate, this marks her third Vogue cover this year, (she was already featured on both the Brazilian and French editions), and her ninth American Vogue cover — her most recent was the August ‘age issue’ in 2008.
Kate isn’t the only repeat covergirl — this year’s August ‘age issue’ will feature Sarah Jessica Parker, who will be promoting her latest flick, I Don’t Know How She Does It. The last time SJP was on the cover was last May, and the August 2011 marks the second time she appeared on the age issue (the first was in 2003 when she was 37-years-old). According to Fashionista, SJP wasn’t the first choice — but when plans to shoot a different covergirl fell through, she was the best bet for a replacement.
While it may seem like Vogue recycles their covergirl’s a bit much, I’m very excited to see the mag feature both Kate’s nuptials and an SJP spread — do you agree?
