Rupert Grint or Ron Weasley as he is best known, is a huge star all over the world after starring in all of the Harry Potter Films. With the final installment of the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 quickly approaching Rupert told Attitude Magazine all about his journey with Harry Potter.
Harry Potter has created and introduced actors that have taken the world by storm including Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson. Besides the three main characters, in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire we were introduced to Robert Pattinson who played Cedric Diggory.
When asked if he was a Twilight fan Rupert said, “Yeah, definitely. There’s no rivalry.” He continued saying, “It’s great to see Robert in this huge thing. I was pleased for him.” It makes sense that the two British studs would be friends, although wizards and vampires seem like unlikely mates. We would like to see who would win a battle between Ron and Edward, wouldn’t you?
Attitude Magazine described Rupert saying, “He’s utterly charming and sweet, gently blokey, completely unlike Ron- more subdued if you can believe it.” Aw, Ron is such a sweetheart and Rupert is even more charming than the red-head wizard we have grown to love, sounds too good to be true!
Rupert also talked about the kiss that we are all waiting for between Ron and Hermione in the final film. “It’s quite full-on, a proper snog. We’re soaking wet as well-they dumped gallons of water on us and then we just went for it.” Wow, talk about two of the best characters finally making a move and making every fan both jealous and happy of the on-screen couple.
Even though Rupert is a lucky man by any standard, getting to lock lips with the gorgeous Emma Watson, the final filming day was full of bittersweet moments.
“We had a barbecue. I brought my ice-cream van [Rupert bought one when he was 17]. They had a mariachi band. It really was quite emotional, surprisingly” said Rupert.
If Rupert can’t believe it is over, what are all the Harry Potter fans going to do once they see the final film, besides see it again at least four times? Maybe they will join the Twihards and start counting down for the final two installments of Breaking Dawn, which is going to be epic!
Which final film are you most excited to camp out and see at midnight?
