Pink Gives ALL Her Baby Photo Money To Charity! Wow, Way-To-Go Pink!
Most showbiz parents who sell their baby photos to the tabloids keep the cash — not Pink!
Pink and her husband Carey Hart donated EVERY PENNY to a string of children’s charities. What a kind gesture and great example for their baby daughter!
Pink made the announcement in a statement on her website, the same day the photos of newborn Willow Sage appeared in People.
She said, “Carey and I decided that we would release personal photos of our Willow, and donate all of the money to charity.We will be donating the money to children’s’ charities, among them one of our favorites, the Ronald McDonald House, an organization that houses and cares for the families of sick children so they can be together during treatment, as well as Autism Speaks.”
In her statement, the singer admits she was reluctant to pose in a tabloid with Willow, but decided to go ahead, hoping it would stop the paparazzi from fighting for the coveted first photo of her daughter.
She says, “Due to the unsettling, surprisingly aggressive and unsafe measures that the paparazzi seem to be willing to go to in order to secure that ‘first shot’ of our daughter — stalking us, chasing us in cars and sitting outside of our home all day and all night, as new parents Carey and I decided that we would release personal photos of our Willow, and donate all of the money to charity.”
