'Only 3 Or 4 Guys Were Legitimately Into' 'Bachelorette' Ashley Hebert, Says Contestant Jeff Medolla!

Ashley became ‘The Bachelorette’ to find love — but Jeff confesses that the majority of guys just weren’t into her! That sucks!

Poor Ashley Hebert! She went on The Bachelorette hoping to find love, but also fearing that the 25 male contestants would wish that The Bachelorette had been someone besides herself like Emily Maynard. During the premiere episode, Ashley told host Chris Harison that she was worried the men wouldn’t find her attractive. Well it seems Bentley Williams wasn’t the only contestant who led Ashley on to think that he was on the show for her.

“Maybe only three or four guys there were legitimately into her,” eliminated contestant Jeff Medolla — famous for the mask he sported on the show — tells during a conference call.

Jeff believes this problem developed because ABC didn’t inform the contestants of The Bachelorette‘s identity during casting. “You don’t know who it’s going to be when you go there,” he says. “You go blind — where there could have been 25 guys that would have liked [Ashley].”

So the guys went on the show without having a clue that Ashley was The Bachelorette. But Jeff still doesn’t think that gave some of them the excuse to behave the way they did.

Jeff points out the episode three roast where the guys sat around bashing Ashley — and how William Holman went way overboard. “William, he didn’t say anything about any of the guys, and he just ripped on her for like 20 minutes,” remembers Jeff. “I know everybody was shocked, and I would never in a million years ever do anything like that.”

Jeff also says that some of the contestants, including himself, went on the show with different angles. Sure he wanted to find love, but he also wanted to be remembered — hence why he rocked the mask!

“I didn’t talk to Ashley all that much,” he admits. “I just kind of went in with a different angle. I like to twist things and go in different.”

And his roomie Bentley only adds more proof to this theory. “He was always just really kind of disconnected with like not wanting to be there,” explains Jeff. “It was really obvious. I talked to him for hours and hours about how he just wasn’t that into her, and he’s just not sure if he wants to be there anymore.”

BFFs — which guys do you think are sincerely into Ashley? My bets on Ryan Park, J.P. Rosenbaum, Constantine Tzortzis and Ben Flajnik.
