Police searched the Anthony family computer after 2-year-old Caylee disappeared and were stunned by what they found.
Among the internet searches were “neck breaking” and “how to make chloroform”. Prosecutors allege traces of the chemical — which can be used to knock people out — was also found in the trunk of Casey Anthony ‘s car.
Testifying at 25-year-old Casey Anthony‘s murder trial on June 8, computer examiner Sandra Osborne said, “I was able to look at it, and recognized immediately that it was an Internet search.”
The search terms were hidden in a deleted space on the heard drive of the laptop.
Casey’s attorney Jose Baez argued that a number of family members had access to the computer, which Osbourne was forced to concede.
The technician was also asked to search the computer of Casey’s boyfriend Ricardo Morales. She found two photographs of Caylee wearing a pink t-shirt identical to the one found with her remains. The prosecution hopes this proves it belonged to Caylee.
Casey Anthony is on trial for the 2008 murder of her daughter. If found guilty, she faces a possible death sentence.
