The Orlando, FL court room heard yesterday that Casey Anthony, the young mom accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in 2008, never wavered on her party-girl ways shortly following the girl’s disappearance. Do her actions say it all?
It must be difficult for Casey’s defense attorney, Jose Baez, to argue her case when there are pictures of the 25-year-old dancing and partying immediately after June 16, 2008, the day he’s also claiming that Caylee drowned in a swimming pool accident.
On June 20, she headed to an Orlando club called Fusion in a tight blue dress, “She was in a Hot Body contest…She was partying and having a good time, drinking, dancing,” Roy ‘Clint’ House, a former roommate of Casey’s ex-boyfriend, testified. He also referred to her as a “fun party girl.”
Casey’s ex-boyfriend Anthony Lazarro and his former roommates testify that the 25-year-old seemed as outgoing and content as ever in the days following June 16, 2008. “She seemed just the same. Nothing had changed, you know. She was happy,” Cameron Campana, 23, told the court.
The night of June 16 she and Lazarro rented a movie together from Blockbuster. “She was the way she was every day – happy. Happy to see me. Having a grand old time.”
What do you think — Is she guilty of first degree murder or just a hard-core partier?
