Check out why Kate and Will’s second reception will be the hottest party of the season! Hint: Disco balls are involved
The vows were said, rings were exchanged, and beautiful newlyweds Prince William and Kate Middleton kissed (twice) on the balcony. After a long day filled with a beautiful ceremony and an extravagant luncheon, the only thing left to do is let loose and celebrate the nuptials!
Prince Charles is hosting the event, starting the night out with speeches, dinner, and then dancing. Prince Harry will be giving his best man speech, which we’re sure will be interesting since the Queen is not attending the wild festivities. We all saw Harry whisper something into William’s ear that made him blush when his bride-to-be met them at the altar. Wish we could hear his toast tonight!
The dinner will feature luscious indulgences like crab, lamb, and decadent sweets. Only 300 people were invited to attend this intimate soiree, and the guest list is mostly friends and classmates of the bride, groom, and Prince Charles.
After dinner, Prince Harry is in charge of providing the entertainment, which is when the real fun begins! Ellie Goulding is performing live, and some have a feeling that guest Joss Stone may be persuaded into taking the mic for a bit as well. Then Harry has arranged for all the hottest DJs on the London club scene to narrate the disco portion of the reception which will last until six in the morning! Pippa Middleton has been preparing for the festivities by having real disco balls hung in the palace! For those who can party as hard as Harry, there will be survivor’s breakfast served in the morning! On the menu are bacon butties which are bacon sandwiches on white buttered bread and fry ups which is the traditional english breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausages, roasted tomatoes, baked beans, and fried bread. Sounds like the perfect remedy for a night of over indulgence and revelry!
The guests who scored an invite to the luncheon but didn’t make the cut for this highly-coveted reception are throwing their own party at the Goring Hotel, where Kate spent the night before the wedding. Expensive champagne, an endless supply of wine, and dancing ’til the break of dawn is the perfect equation for a legendary wedding reception! Wish we could be there at this party of the century! Tell us what you think of the royal’s wild wedding reception!
