“It’s hard on Bronx,” a family friend tells In Touch magazine, “and many nights at bedtime, he will cry for his dad and can’t be comforted by his mom.”
“This is a very difficult transition for children. They will need to work with his age, development and level of separation anxiety to figure out the best way to move forward,” relationship expert, Dr. Gilda Carle tells HollyBaby.com. “Also, play is one of the best ways for children to work through their feelings,” she explains.
And although Ashlee’s rep says that Bronx is doing well, the insider says that Pete and Ashlee are trying to be civil for the sake of their little boy. “Pete and Ashlee are both devoted to Bronx,” the source adds, “and they want to make sure he’s happy.”
