Penelope Cruz Relives Her Pregnancy Pee-Pee Problem!
Penelope had a wee-little problem on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Yup, there were some “strange tides” on the high seas of the Pirates of the Caribbean set. Penelope Cruz, 36, might not be pregnant anymore, but when she was, she faced a bit of a potty problem. Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go! Especially when you have a baby pressing up against your bladder!
“Rob [Marshall] and Johnny [Depp] and Jerry Bruckheimer all really took care of me and made all the changes that were necessary to have total safety,” Penélope explains to Entertainment Weekly. “But they left Johnny and I on a deserted island with no bathrooms to do a helicopter shot. That for a pregnant woman can be a little bit of a problem.”
“So for those few hours I had to keep going into the water every 15 minutes,” Penelope says with a laugh. “That was one of those things that you remember forever.”
