Robert Pattinson: I Absolutely Hate Wearing My Vampire Contacts!

We love Rob’s piercing hot vampire look in ‘Breaking Dawn’ — but he says it’s miserable to wear the lenses for his transformation. So he wants to blow them up!

Robert Pattinson can do anything — except put in his contacts! The actor tells Entertainment Weekly that ever since the Twilight Saga began, it’s been a major struggle to put in his golden and black contacts! Not only does he want to “kill” them, he says he has to have TWO people hold him down each day to put them in!

“I actually want to get some kind of plastic explosive. I want to reanimate them into something so I can kill them,” Rob says. “It’s so embarrassing for me — after so many years, it’s still a process every single morning. Everybody else has figured out how to do it, and then there’s two people holding me down because I can’t do it myself.”

Who knew being so gorgeous took that much work! Rob is still shooting Breaking Dawn in Vancouver with his girlfriend Kristen Stewart and they’re almost done. We’ve spotted them on a few date nights but Robsten is working around the clock to wrap the final two installments!

Rob and the rest of the cast should be finished shooting mid-April — just in time for his premiere of Water For Elephants.

Then his eyes can get a real rest!
