George was so rude to Kirstie! Now he’s done the right thing and said he is sorry. Do you think she should forgive him?

Lopez Tonight host George Lopez is super sorry for implying that Kirstie Alley is a pig. “I misjudged the joke,” George wrote on Twitter on March 24. “No malice was intended and I apologize to Kirstie.”

While everyone was cheering for Kirstie during the Season 12 premiere of Dancing with the Stars, George made some mean comments comparing Kirstie to a pig. “She did a nice job,” George said of Kirstie’s dancing skills on his show.”Her little hooves tapping away.”

George then followed with a reinvention of the famous nursery rhyme — Little Piggy Went To Market. His version: “Before the show she went to the market. And then she had roast beef. And this is her going all the way home.” He then played a clip of a pig riding in a car squealing!

Kirstie didn’t find this joke amusing as she quickly fired back. “Don’t worry about George’s comments…” she tweeted. “Just remember what happens to the big bad, drunk wolf…falls in a boiling pot of vodka. Piggy laughs.” That sounded like a shot at George’s self-acknowledged drinking problems in the past.

But now George says he’s sorry for his rude comments. BFFs — do you think Kirstie should accept George’s apology?

He had no choice but to apologize. He was universally criticized, even on his own website, which he dealt with by deleting close to sixty (60) posts in two days. Still, he finally apologized. Hope he learned a lesson, and it’s now time to drop it.
