After years of struggling to conceive, the 30 Rock star is expecting a baby any day now via a surrogate! Wonderful news!
Elizabeth Banks‘ baby wish is finally coming true! After years of inferility, the actress, 37, and her husband, author Max Handelman, 37, are having a baby, thanks to a surrogate mother in Shreveport, LA. And their new addition is due to arrive at any moment! “She’ll be an amazing mom!” a friend tells Star. We are so thrilled for the soon-to-be parents.
“They tried everything, including fertility treatments, but nothing worked,” her friend explains. “She was devastated.”
The couple considered adoption but decided to turn to surrogacy after Elizabeth’s celebrity pal Sarah Jessica Parker recommended it. SJP and husband Matthew Broderick welcomed their now 1½-year-old twin girls Tabitha and Marion via a surrogate in June 2009.
Elizabeth plans on taking a few months off to focus on caring for the baby and being a mother, no that her baby dreams have come true!
